What Simon Does Foundation?
Description:
As the title might imply it's a prequel, the series is. This text is a bit of both.

N: M - Not a sequel
Let's start with the obvious stuff:
-there like 1 woman that didn't show her tits when she had the chance, I found that out of character
-there's a woman that seemed to ask for more chances to show her tits
-Pacho is 'still straight' - and still cool af - or already - hard to tell
-Felix has no clue how to run a company

Meaning - he has half a clue rather; he knows how to manage the Executive Board, and the local management structures. But he doesn't really seem to understand that without the Board of Director's approval, he's pretty much fucking himself. And then there's of course the major stake-holders that want to have their way... He never really got his head around those, did he... he did not.
Take the old school guy from the Gulf Cartel, take Pablo effing Escobar, they seemed to known how to handle shit. It's just shitty they started to handle coke.
And that's the crux of it:
At one point it's say: this product creates its own market.
In our times there's people jumping out of windows, because keeping up with the production of phones and stuff is bloody stressful.
When it comes to coke however, people get blown out of windows because they mess with the production. The production of a product that was possibly used in the production of the show that documents, I'm sorry, 'dramatises', the origin story of the product. The circle closes. And goes round and round.
And, before I forget, Walt is so un-Yoda - he keeps trying...
Maybe that's why things never worked out... Maybe it's a generation gap...
There's a lot of good guy doing bad things, and bad guy doing good things - and a lot more not sure if he's good or bad and what he does is good or bad - in the 2 series.
The lines are often blurry.
It's what we are as a species. It's what we do: good thing and bad things. And if you want to sum them all up and decide if that makes someone good or bad?
Be my guest.
If you have to know...

Here's my case: the bad guys in this whole ordeal are the "innocent" ones - the rich and famous, and addicted ones, the good ol' US of Fucking A! At least that's the story that's told. By them...
Pablo was chill at the beginning - couple of threats and murders here and there - but for the most part he's shown to be morally flexible and a good negotiator.
Chill compared to how operated later. Smuggling dope, like a nice señor, and stuff.
But then a bunch of people were like: this white shit is the shit - we must have more - preferably all of it - sucks some folks in our own ranks mess with that.
And as a nation, and a world, we have extremely conflicted views on it.
Like it was said: the demand comes with the supply. The pricier the spicier.
You want to stop that shit? Make it cheaper and more legal - it's bound to loose some of its appeal if it's freely available.
Regulate & taxate - transfer the money - left pocket, right pocket - who wants that?

The upside? For me? I like boring. Mundane. Simplicity. Clean and refreshing.
There's too much money to be made for no one to do it. Unless you cut it the stem, grow your own roots, it'll always grow back - especially if you fertilize.

The Fall said that we dig repetition, and that we don't. Don't love it. Without hesitation.
I say that is messed up.

With that out of the way; it's not like we learnt. That. Much. As a group. Of all people.
We want more. We don't need no education - that's what the kids shouted.
Plan B went that we'd have enough once we said "more" - we can never have enough.
That production is fucking Epic Man. Yeah!

Coke is definition of that. Those who don't agree? How do they know?

You can say "no".
I know, I can.
What I can't, is speak for you.
It's always the same "no".
It's called 'free will' - supposedly.
